Cloud Relay Setup

How Relay Works

Your SentinelHQ server connects outbound to our TURN relay servers. When you open the app remotely, video is routed through our encrypted relay. No port forwarding. No firewall rules. Your footage is encrypted in transit — we only see encrypted packets.

Camera Setup

SentinelHQ works with any RTSP or ONVIF camera. Here are the most common setups.

AI Detection

Person, vehicle, and package detection powered by YOLO v8. Available on Pro plan or as a $5/mo add-on.

Enable AI in Settings

Dashboard → Settings → AI Detection → Enable. Select detection classes (person, vehicle, package, face). Set confidence threshold (default 0.65). Draw exclusion zones to ignore specific areas.
